We are pleased to have received funding from National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education for the project "Supporting Careers of LGBTQIA+ Students in Australian Universities". The team consists of Flinders University researchers, Associate Professor Zhou (Joe) Jiang and Professor Damien Riggers, and RMIT University researchers, Dr Ying (Lena) Wang and Dr Susan Mate.
This project will generate new knowledge regarding LGBTQIA+ students' unique needs and expectations about Australian universities' career guidance and support. Through identifying gaps between existing university practices and the initiatives that LGBTQIA+ students desire, the project will offer important recommendations and guidelines for Australian universities to improve career support services for this particular student group.
